Let’s talk a little about how toxins can affect our health. If you read my article on Toxic Overload you know the more toxins we carry, the more health issues develop. But why?

Our body is a divinely made, and has the amazing ability to filter out toxins. The challenge is the amount of toxins going in and the amount that our bodies are able to filter. We are surrounded with toxins in the air, in our food, in our water, in our everyday products, and the products we put on our body.

These toxins affect our body in multiple ways… they make our liver and kidneys work harder, they make our brain and digestion sluggish, they weaken our immune system because it’s working hard to filter toxins, making it harder for it to fight disease.

Let’s take it a step further… some of these toxins are doing more than just weakening the immune system and making it hard for our body to function, they are causing disruptions in our hormones. THIS IS THE BIGGER PROBLEM! When you pair hormones disruption with an immune system that isn’t working well, diseases start to show up. Some of the health issues associated with hormone disruption include PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, acne, headaches/migraines, and cancer, just to name a few.
